How to Use SAATI Finish W1

Apply Finish W1 to the substrate side of the screen. Spread it evenly over the desired areas of the mesh and stencil using a straight edge, card, or plastic spreader.

For small pinholes or stencil touch-ups, Finish W1 can be thinned with water and applied with a brush.

Recommended Curing

Allow Finish W1 to cure:

3 hours at room temperature, or
30 minutes at 104°F–122°F (40°C–50°C).

For applications requiring increased water resistance, SAATI Fixer 9 can be applied.

Easy Screen Reclaiming

Unlike permanent fillers that can make screen recycling difficult, Finish W1 is designed to reclaim with standard emulsion-removing chemicals. SAATI recommends compatible reclaimers such as Remove ER1, ER2, ER4, ER5, or ER10, followed by pressure washing.

This makes Finish W1 particularly useful for shops that want a durable water-resistant blockout without sacrificing the ability to reclaim and reuse valuable screens.

Storage

Keep the product sealed in its original container and store under cool conditions. Under recommended storage conditions, SAATI states that the product maintains its original properties for one year from the date of production.
