Victory Bio 4 Color Process Yellow Water Based Ink Quart
Victory Bio 4 Color Process Yellow Water Based Ink Quart
Produce rich reds, vibrant purples, warm shadows, and smooth tonal transitions with Victory Bio 4 Color Process Yellow Water Based Ink. Formulated for professional four-color process screen printing, this transparent Yellow ink layers with Process Cyan, Process Yellow, and Process Black to reproduce detailed photographs, illustrations, gradients, and full-color artwork.
Its soft-hand water-based formula penetrates the garment fibers instead of creating a thick, plastic-like layer on the surface. The finished print remains soft, flexible, and durable, making it an excellent choice for detailed apparel graphics where comfort and color accuracy are essential.
Vibrant Yellow for CMYK Process Printing
Victory Bio Process Yellow is designed as one component of a complete four-color process ink system. When printed through properly separated halftones, the transparent inks overlap and blend visually to create a wide range of colors, highlights, shadows, and subtle tonal variations.
Process Yellow is especially important for producing:
- Photographic screen prints
- Rich red and purple color blends
- Skin tones and warm highlights
- Detailed halftone artwork
- CMYK apparel graphics
- Fine-art textile printing
- Multi-color illustrations and gradients
For the best color reproduction, use correctly prepared color separations, consistent screen tension, accurate registration, and properly selected halftone angles.
Soft, Flexible Water-Based Performance
The Victory Bio water-based ink system is formulated for strong adhesion, excellent wash durability, and a soft finished print. The base ink series offers elongation of more than 1,000% at break, helping printed designs resist cracking when used on flexible or highly elastic materials.
The slow-drying formula also helps keep the screen open longer at room temperature, reducing premature clogging during extended print runs. It is suitable for cotton, cotton/polyester blends, polyester, synthetic fabrics, Lycra, and other stretchable substrates. Always test the ink on the actual garment before beginning full production.
Recommended Printing Guidelines
For the most accurate four-color process results, print on white or light-colored garments. Printing on dark garments may require a white underbase, which can change the appearance and balance of the process colors.
Recommended mesh:
Use monofilament polyester mesh within the manufacturer’s recommended 86–230 mesh range. Detailed halftone printing generally requires a finer mesh, although the ideal mesh count will depend on the artwork, halftone size, ink deposit, and substrate.
Recommended stencil:
Use a water-resistant dual-sensitized direct-method photo emulsion or an SBQ presensitized photo emulsion designed for water-based ink.
Curing:
The technical data recommends curing at approximately 300°F for 1–2 minutes. Cotton substrates may require a slightly longer curing period. Dryer temperature, belt speed, garment thickness, and ink deposit can all affect the final cure, so conduct a step-cure and wash test before production.
CPSIA-Compliant, Non-Leaded Pigments
Victory Bio water-based garment ink is formulated with non-leaded pigments and is designed to comply with CPSIA requirements for lead and specified phthalates. The technical data lists lead content below 300 ppm and regulated phthalates below 0.1%.
Review the current Safety Data Sheet and conduct any finished-product testing required for your specific application.
